Characteristics And Traits Of Graphs

Domain- X value

Range- Y value

End Behavior- Behavior of the end of a graphed mark as it continues off the graph

Absolute Maximum/Minimum- the highest or lowest point on a graph that is not infinity

Interval Of Increase- where the graph increases in relation to the X axis

Interval Of Decrease- where the graph decreases in relation to the X axis

X Intercept- where graphed mark touches X axis

Y Intercept- where graphed mark touches Y axis

Symmetry-

~Even- symmetrical across the Y axis

~Odd- symmetrical across the origin point

~Neither- no symmetry

Asymptotes- imaginary line that the graph gets closer and closer to but never touches

Function- passes the horizontal line test

One To One- passes the horizontal and vertical line test
